Hard Old Progress

The sandbox MMO concept once suffered a complete failure. This event cast a huge, immense, and omnipresent impact on this genre of game and broke the beautiful dream of the game developers that it would become a magnificent renaissance of the funny and adventurous quality of the MMORPG prior to the revolution in the industry brought by its streamlined avarice. Of everything I talked I mean it is about those beautiful old days, even including the period in our memory when the rival between MMO Profiteering and MMORPG began to loot out. Advocators of those who yearned for the old time, for the Ultimas, the Meridians, and eventually the Asherons of the world, would mostly not go against the direction Everquest had chose for the industry. Lifting their eyes to the sky to meet the dazzling brilliance of farinaceous lye, which would blind them, the developers of Shadowbane, in distinction from others, would advance in their own way and face the acid spewed from their own supporters directly and give an example for what should not be done in an MMORPG.
