The most obvious change in Darkfall is the abolitin of classes. Many players must have noticed it. The development of a character is totally centered on skills. There are almost hundreds of skills to choose from and the ability to max out a vast majority of them. Therefore it may take years for a player to max their character out.
One may come upon such problems in other games such as after a long time of playing, you found that the character does not much meet your expectations or simply, it is just not the kind you liked. But in Darkfall you do not have such worries.
With the numerous number of skills and magic spells, Darkfall has every reason to bring a brand-new game experience. The idea of looting between players is really a shock. Also Darkfall gets some attractive ideas, ideas that appeal to the old school. It is suggested that players with agility and familiar with every combat styles would have an advantage over the less experienced, but that advantage wouldn't be that big.
